Manzana
Manzana arbeiten wieder an einem neuen Album seit August 2009 und haben daher vorerst keine Shows geplant.
Die nächsten gigs gibt es ab Oktober wenn Manzana und die griechischen Bare Infinity sowie For Selena And Sin zusammen Finnland unsicher machen. Danach werden Manzana noch in den baltischen Staaten touren und im Januar dann ganz Europa bereisen! Die Band freut sich über die neuen Songs und kann es kaum erwarten wieder in den Tourbvus zu steigen!
Manzana has started working on their third studio album in August and has therefore withdrawn from live shows for a while. Next gigs will take place in October, when Manzana tours some Finland with a Greek metal band Bare Infinity and with For Selena And Sin. In October Manzana will also be touring some Baltic countries and in January more Europe. The band is happy and excited about the new songs, and waiting to get back in the bus already !

Die finnischen melancholischen Rocker werden ihr zweites Album am 19.10.2009 veröffentlichen.
Primerose Path, so der Titel, zeigt die härtere und energiegeladenere Seite der Band, ohne den Original Sound von FSAS zu vernachlässigen.
Auf dem Album sind 12 Songs inclusive dem Kylie Minogue Cover "Condife in me". Das Album wurde im Studio Underground in Schweden aufgenommen und gemixt. Der Produzent ist Pelle Saether.
" Nach dem ersten Album haben wir viel Zeit mit Touren verbracht. Als wir anfingen neues Material zu schreiben, wollten wir den selben Vibe auffangen den wir live verspüren. Pelle lag absolut auf unserer Wellenlänge und das Album klingt extrem gut!" sagt der Gitarrist der Band Martti Pohjosaho.

Finnish melancholic rockers will release their second album on 19th October 2009. Primrose Path shows heavier and more energetic side of the band, without forgetting the original sound of FSAS. Album features 12 new songs, including Kylie Minogue cover song "Condife in Me". Album was recorded and mixed at Studio Underground, Sweden. Band worked with producer Pelle Saether;
"After first album we spend a lot of time on the road. When we started to write material for the new album, we wanted to get the same wibe to the songs that we have when we play live. Pelle was in the same page with us and the album sounds extremely good!" , says band guitarist Martti Pohjosaho.

Manzana bereisen Europa mit For Selena And Sin und Unshine
Die finnische Rock-Metal Band Manzana hat die Tourdaten für ihre Europa Tour im April und Mai 2009 veröffentlicht. Die Tour wird am 22.04. in Hamburg/ Deutschland starten und führt durch 7 Länder. Die Tour bekam den Namen: "Finnish Female Fronted Rock-Metal Tour 2009", da Manzana mit zwei anderen Bands mit Frauen am Mikro unterwegs sind: For Selena And Sin und Unshine.
Manzana veröffentlichten ihr zweites Album "Babies Of Revolution" in Finnland im September 2008 und erreichten Platz 28 in den Charts. Ihr Debut " Nothing As Whole As A Broken Heart" kam im Dezember 2007 raus und schaffte es bis auf Platz 24, die Single "Falling To Pieces" kam sogar bis auf Platz 2. Manzanas Debut wurde von Playground International in 24 Ländern veröffentlicht und 2007 gingen Manzana mit Bands wie Apulanta, Teräsbetoni und Entwine in Finnland und Lovex in Deutschland und der Schweiz auf Tour, und besuchten zahlreiche TV-Shows inklusive MTV's Headbangers Ball. Im Jahr 2008 tourten Manzana auch in den baltischen Staaten.
For Selena And Sin, eine Gothic Pop-Metal Band, veröffentlichten ihr Erstlingswerk "Overdosed On You" bei den niederländischen Mascot Records im Jahr 2007 und es wurde zum Album des Monats in dem finnischen Metal-Magazin Inferno gewählt. Die positiven Rückmeldungen aus ganz Europa sorgten dafür, dass die Band noch leidenschaftlicher tourte als zuvor. Die Band spielte eine Menge Gigs in Europa und Russland, darunter eine ausverkaufte finnische Tour mit Volbeat!
FSAS spielten auf der finnischen Metal-Expo in Helsinki 2009 und ihr zweites Album ist fertig um später in diesem Jahr bei Mascot Records veröffentlicht zu werden.
Unshine, eine Symphonic-Druid-Metal Band, hat bisher auch schon zwei Alben veröffentlicht: "Earth Magick" 2005 und letztes jahr 2008 "The Enigma Of immortals". Beide Alben wurden sowohl in Europa als auch in den USA und Russland veröffentlicht. MANZANA TO TOUR EUROPE WITH FOR SELENA AND SIN AND UNSHINE
Finnish rock-metal band Manzana has released the dates for European tour on April and May 2009. The tour will start on April 22nd in Hamburg, Germany, and will stop in 7 countries. The tour is called "Finnish Female Fronted Rock-Metal Tour 2009", as Manzana will be on the road with two other Finnish female fronted metal bands, For Selena And Sin and Unshine.
Manzana released their second album "Babies Of Revolution" in Finland on September 2008, and it went on chart number 28. Manzana's debut "Nothing As Whole As A Broken Heart" was released in Finland on December 2007, and it went on album chart 24th, single "Falling To Pieces" number 2 the highest. The debut was released by Playground International in 24 countries, and on 2007 Manzana toured all Finland with bands like Apulanta, Teräsbetoni and Entwine, and Germany and Switzerland with Lovex, and visited several TV shows including MTV..s Headbangers Ball. On 2008 Manzana also toured some Baltic countries.
For Selena And Sin, a gothic pop-metal band, have released their debut "Overdose On You" by Dutch Mascot Records on 2007, and it was selected as an album of the month on Finnish metal magazine Inferno. Positive feedback from all over Europe made the band to tour more passionately than ever. Band made a lot of gigs in Europe and Russia. Touring included sold-out finnish tour with Volbeat.
Selena performed at The Finnish Metal Expo in Helsinki this year, and their second album is ready to be released by Mascot Records, later on 2009.
Unshine, a symphonic druid metal band, has also released two albums, "Earth Magick" on 2005, and "The Enigma Of Immortals" on 2008. Wir haben ein paar Live-aufnahmen für das hoffentlich kommende Video von Panda Girl im Amadeus gedreht. Wir schleppten ein paar Lichter in die gute alte bar, selbstverständlich kann Panda Girl nirgendwo sonst gedreht werden, wo es doch von der bar handelt!
Oder tatsächlich, etwas genauer, Panda girl handelt von den ganz bestimmten Mädchen, die einen langen Weg nach Tampere aus ihrem Heimatland in Kauf nehmen um in dieser Bar auf bestimmte Jungs zu warten!... " warten auf den Einen der niemals kommen wird", flüstert es durch den Raum während sie ihren Tee trinken. Aber oh Wunder- sie kommen ja nie wenn man auf sie wartet- was dich verändert ist nicht das Ende der Geschichte, sondern die Reise auf die du dich begibst, auf eine weise verstehe ich es sogar ;)! Es ist so romantisch! Ich beneide diesen festen Glauben.. Heh, nun klinge ich wie ein alter Vampir in einem Turm, welcher ich vielleicht bin!!
Wir sind verdammt das zu begehren was wir niemals haben werden! *seufz* Aber zumindest können wir es genießen, während wie weiter Ausschau halten.... =)

We shot some live stuff for the possible forthcoming Panda Girl video at Amadeus bar last tuesday. We dragged some lights into the good old bar, ofcourse, Panda Girl couldn´t be shot anywhere else, since the song is about it! Or actually, more specifically ,Panda Girl is about certain lovely girls ,who come a long way from their homeland to this little bar looking for certain boys..." But miracles- they never come when you wait -and what changes you is not the end, it´s the journey, so in a way I understand that! It´s so romantic! I envy that believe...Heh , now I sound like an old vampire in a tower, which I probably am !!

New album!!!
FOR SELENA AND SIN begins second album's recording on 6th of october. This time road goes to Västerås in Sweden. The album is going to be recorded in Studio Underground and the man behind the levers and buttons will be Pelle Saether. Bass player Teemu Turkia comments on next album:
"With this new record we took a big step towards a new sound. We also thought a long time about the location of studio and we ended up in Sweded because of many reasons. Compared to our debut album, this new material will be more versatile and a little bit faster"
Since "Overdosed on You" debut there has been lineup changes. Martti Pohjosaho will be taking place on second guitar. Martti has been playing with FSAS quite a long time on tours. A few quests is also going to be performing on the new album. About that and many other things will be informed more clearly later.
FOR SELENA AND SIN is taking a gig break for the rest of the year but next year band is returning to stages with new set list. Check out the calendar on homepage and MySpace
